Singapore Airshow 2026: The View from the Center

Highlights

The Singapore Airshow is a kid in a candy store moment for anyone in aviation. This year felt especially charged. The energy at Changi was unmistakable, with record breaking crowds and that familiar new tech excitement that only shows up when the global aviation industry gathers in one place.

While the aerial displays captured attention, the real work was happening on the ground. Our CEO, Asaf Zmirly, spent the week in high level, closed door conversations, where future priorities are explored, partnerships are pressure tested, and long term direction quietly begins to take shape.

For companies like ours, being at Changi is not about spectacle. It is about being present where decisions are formed and the future of flight is actively discussed.

Why this remains a must attend event for us

  • Global Access
With participants from more than 130 countries, the Airshow compresses months of strategic conversations into a few focused days. It is one of the rare moments when the entire ecosystem is in the same place at the same time.

  • The Innovation Pulse
From sustainable aviation fuels to the debut of the Space Summit, the signals were clear. The future is being shaped long before it reaches headlines, and being on site allows us to see those shifts in real time.

  • Strategic Partnerships
More than 1,300 delegate meetings took place behind the scenes. This is where alignment is tested and where long term moves actually begin.

Helicopter Highlights: Where Rotary Wing Is Headed

Because vertical lift is core to what we do, the helicopter showcases were a major focus. This year revealed a clear shift toward intelligent systems, refined performance, and next level capability.

Sarang Display Team
The Indian Air Force’s Sarang team delivered a standout performance, flying five HAL Dhruv helicopters in tight formation and demonstrating extraordinary pilot precision.

HTeaming Technology
Airbus showcased the H225M operating alongside autonomous drones in real time, offering a clear look at how piloted aircraft and intelligent systems will work together moving forward.

Next Generation VIP Travel
On the static line, the Airbus H160 and H145M drew strong interest. The H160, in particular, sets a new benchmark for smooth, quiet, and more sustainable VIP transport.

Speed Reimagined
Bell presented models of the MV 75 FLRAA tiltrotor, a design built to fly significantly faster than conventional helicopters and challenge long held assumptions about speed and mission range.

By the Numbers: The Scale of 2026

65,000 trade attendees, marking the largest turnout in the show’s history
1,100 plus companies, spanning global leaders and emerging innovators
More than 300 million dollars in new regional investment commitments, reinforcing Singapore’s position as a global aviation hub

It was a focused and demanding week filled with meaningful conversations and new opportunities. Being inside rooms like these, where direction is shaped deliberately and quietly, is how we stay ahead of what comes next.
